Kedrick Wright has joined planning, engineering and program management firm Lockwood, Andrews and Newnam Inc. (LAN) as program manager. Wright will support LAN’s program management business, including building improvements to campuses within the Alamo Colleges District located in San Antonio. Wright has almost 20 years of architectural, construction and program management experience.

Jennifer Johnson has also joined LAN as program manager for higher education based in San Antonio. She will support LAN’s collaboration with the Alamo Colleges District as the firm oversees a renovation program that includes upgrades to 65 facilities throughout the district. Johnson brings almost 20 years of experience to the role.

Kimberly Cornett has joined LAN as regional stormwater manager based in the firm’s Fort Worth office. She will manage initiatives to improve drainage, flood control and floodplain management across Texas.

Engineering, planning and consulting firm Freese and Nichols has made several personnel changes in Texas and Oklahoma: Muna Mitchell has joined the firm as bridge team lead engineer based in Austin. Greg Simmons is the new leader of the stormwater master planning and design team for the Central Plains region based in Oklahoma City. Adam Cross has joined the transportation design team as a senior transportation project manager in Dallas.

Artie Cressman has joined Christman Co. as regional director of business development in the construction management firm’s Irving, Texas, office. Cressman previously served in the business development role for Cressman Tubular Products in Dallas.

Tyler P. Jones was named water national business line executive at WSP USA. Jones will assume his leadership position on Jan. 1 at the firm’s Austin office. Jones will direct the development and implementation of WSP’s U.S. growth strategy in drinking water, wastewater and water resources.

Infrastructure solutions firm HNTB has signed a lease for a new office space in downtown El Paso, Texas, to accommodate current and future growth of staff. The firm has hired Javier Cordova as project manager and Jerry Leos as senior technical adviser in the El Paso office.

Mbroh Engineering has named Sara DeMark as chief administrative officer, based in the firm’s Dallas office. Anthony Mbroh, president of Mbroh Engineering, says DeMark is a champion for initiatives driving company culture, business operations and overall continuity.

In Dallas, electrical engineer Rijo Rajan is joining Mbroh. He has 15 years of global experience in project design, layout preparation, installation, testing, commissioning and site management. Alazxa Mbroh has joined the firm as engineering administrator based in Oklahoma City. A 2022 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, Mbroh is currently assisting the team with organization of business operations, systems archiving and engineering tasks.

In Houston, Dick McAdams has joined the firm as staff engineer. He has more than 30 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design. In addition, Jeff Lai is joining Mbroh’s Houston office as controls specialist, bringing 39 years of experience to the firm.

Architecture, engineering and planning firm PGAL has hired Sarah Pellegrin as associate principal for its Houston interiors studio. Pellegrin has more than 17 years of interior design and sustainability experience.

Engineering, environmental, surveying and construction management firm BGE Inc. has hired Quincy Allen as transportation business leader in its Houston office. Allen comes to the firm after 37 years with the Texas Dept. of Transportation, where he most recently served as a member of the administration team. In his new leadership role with BGE, Allen will serve as a partner to the firm’s transportation systems and construction management departments.

Design, build and engineering firm KAI Enterprises promoted H. John Vetter II to principal for electrical engineering at its Dallas-Fort Worth office. KAI hired Vetter in September 2021 to the new position of national electrical engineering subject matter expert. He has more than 32 years of experience in engineering and management.

Cheryl Diamond has joined Corgan Architects as director of business development in its Houston office. She will be engaged in multiple project pursuits for the firm’s aviation, commercial, education and health care studios. Corgan also hired Irene Coe as director of business development to pursue projects and cultivate client leads. And in Austin, Corgan hired Sarah Dalidowitz to lead business development efforts.

Engineering design and facility consulting firm Smith Seckman Reid Inc. has hired three individuals across Texas: Jacob Adcock joined as a mechanical engineer for Texas, Gabe Jagush joined as a plumbing engineer in training in Forth Worth and Kim Watson joined as an administrative assistant in Houston.
